Mounjaro - Day 1

Today, I began my journey to a healthier lifestyle.

I was diagnosed with Hypertension (High Blood Pressure) at that start of 2025 with further tests performed to identify any hereditary / secondary causes which was cleared this January.

With a green light from my GP, I have begun a prescription of Mounjaro to give me the initial boost to my weight-loss journey. I don't view this medicine as the magical cure, rather the physical barrier to gluttony that I often find myself in during depressive episodes.

Today, February 28th

I collected my prescription from the pharmacy along with a new set of smart body weight scales. In preparation for the big day, I have also ordered a Gousto subscription and configured a Mounjaro progress tracking app called 'Shotsy'.

The injection went about as planned from the research prior to collection, no pain, simple application.
